Just so we’re clear on my views here…I don’t care what color your skin is and I hope you don’t care what color my skin is. I care about you as a person. If you are a colleague, I want you to work as hard as I’m going to work. I want you to be as much of a team player as I am trying to be. I care that you pursue excellence, and I’ll join you on that track. I care about your character, your mind, and your heart. Those things are much deeper and more important to me than the color of your skin — and the color of my skin.
