Now, a team of researchers in South Korea may have just found a surprisingly elegant solution to this age-old problem.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">According to a new\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.science.org\/doi\/10.1126\/sciadv.aec8995\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-bw-imp-id=\"2e8c9dd4-4a2e-44c7-8f2b-acfe3044542c\" data-bw-id=\"bw-2e8c9dd4-4a2e\" data-bw-nonce=\"5d0b890f-1930-4a9d-8c4f-d60e7c88830d\" data-bw-event-track=\"true\">study published in Science Advances<\/a>, the system, called WRSLT (wirelessly connected, ring-type sign language translator), can recognize and translate both American Sign Language and International Sign Language words with around 88% accuracy.
