A severe Amazon Web Services outage took out many, many websites, apps, games and other services that rely on Amazon\u2019s cloud division to stay up and running.<br \/>\n&#8230;<br \/>\nSites and services that were affected by the AWS outage include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Amazon<\/li>\n<li>Amazon Alexa<\/li>\n<li>Bank of America<\/li>\n<li>Snapchat<\/li>\n<li>Reddit<\/li>\n<li>Lyft<\/li>\n<li>Apple Music<\/li>\n<li>Apple TV<\/li>\n<li>Pinterest<\/li>\n<li>Fortnite<\/li>\n<li>Roblox<\/li>\n<li>The New York Times<\/li>\n<li>Disney+<\/li>\n<li>Venmo<\/li>\n<li>Doordash<\/li>\n<li>Hulu<\/li>\n<li>Grubhub<\/li>\n<li>PlayStation<\/li>\n<li>Zoom<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em><span style=\"color: #800000;\">From DSC:<\/span><\/em><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #800000;\">Hmmm&#8230;doesn&#8217;t this put a bit of alarm in your mind? I can&#8217;t help but wonder&#8230;if another government wants to wreak havoc on another country &#8212; or even the world &#8212; that is an increasingly possible situation these days. In fact, its already happened with social media and with cybersecurity-related issues. But taking down banking, commerce, exchanges, utilities, and more is increasingly possible.
