The Study is entitled \u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ftitechnology.com\/resources\/white-papers\/legal-service-delivery-in-the-age-of-ai\"><em>Le<\/em>gal Service Delivery in the Age of AI<\/a>.<\/strong> The Study was done jointly by\u00a0FTI Technologies, a consulting group, and Blickstein. It looks at law department legal operations.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Findings<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>GenAI Use by Legal Ops Personnel<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The responses reflect a bullish view of what GenAI can do in the legal marketplace but also demonstrate GenAi has a ways to go:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Almost 80% of the respondents think that GenAI will become an \u201cessential part of the legal profession.<\/li>\n<li>81% believe GenAi will drive improved efficiencies<\/li>\n<li>Despite this belief, only some 30% have plans to purchase GenAI tools.
