AI will help drive that transformation, he says, by creating the data to better understand the skills associated with jobs.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">The technology will allow for a\u00a0<b>more accurate matching of skills and experiences,<\/b> says Fuller, and for companies to \u201cnot rely on proxies like degrees or grade point averages or even the proxy of what someone currently makes or how fast they\u2019ve gotten promoted on their r\u00e9sum\u00e9.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">Change is coming soon, Fuller predicts, particularly as AI\u2019s impacts accelerate. And the\u00a0disruption will affect wealthier Americans\u00a0who\u2019ve been spared during previous shifts in the labor market.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">The Kicker: \u201cWhen people in bedroom suburbs are losing their six-figure jobs, that changes politics,\u201d Fuller says. \u201cThat changes the way people are viewing things like equity and where that leads.
