And as I&#8217;ve read the Scriptures through the years, I&#8217;ve realized that <em><strong>ideas are like seeds.<\/strong><\/em> Like seeds, ideas can:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #800000;\">start small<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #800000;\">take root<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #800000;\">grow<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #800000;\">become powerful, while transforming something bit by bit<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800000;\">So ideas can start small and be fragile. Many get squashed and never make it. And others don&#8217;t have healthy soil in which to grow. But other seeds grow roots.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-77043\" src=\"http:\/\/danielschristian.com\/learning-ecosystems\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/Ideas-R-Like-Seeds-DanielSChristian-sm2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"100%\" height=\"100%\" srcset=\"https:\/\/danielschristian.com\/learning-ecosystems\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/Ideas-R-Like-Seeds-DanielSChristian-sm2.jpg 917w, https:\/\/danielschristian.com\/learning-ecosystems\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/Ideas-R-Like-Seeds-DanielSChristian-sm2-150x100.jpg 150w, https:\/\/danielschristian.com\/learning-ecosystems\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/Ideas-R-Like-Seeds-DanielSChristian-sm2-768x513.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 917px) 100vw, 917px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>I&#8217;ve learned that we are transformed when our THINKING is transformed.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Here are just a couple of verses of scripture that emphasize that point:<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<div id=\"dropdown-30586\" class=\"bcv d-container go2888862000\" role=\"button\" aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-haspopup=\"listbox\" aria-labelledby=\"dropdown-30586\">\n<div class=\"dropdown-display\">\n<div class=\"dropdown-display-text\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Matthew+16%3A5-12&amp;version=NIV\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Matthew 16:5-12 New International Version<\/strong><\/a><\/div>\n<div class=\"dropdown-display-text\"><strong>The Yeast of the Pharisees and Sadducees<\/strong><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"passage-text\">\n<div class=\"passage-content passage-class-0\">\n<div class=\"version-NIV result-text-style-normal text-html\">\n<div class=\"std-text\">\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><span class=\"text Matt-16-5\"><sup class=\"versenum\">5\u00a0<\/sup>When they went across the lake, the disciples forgot to take bread.<\/span>\u00a0<span id=\"en-NIV-23679\" class=\"text Matt-16-6\"><span class=\"woj\"><sup class=\"versenum\">6\u00a0<\/sup>\u201cBe careful,\u201d<\/span>\u00a0Jesus said to them.\u00a0<span class=\"woj\">\u201cBe on your guard against the yeast of the Pharisees and Sadducees.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><span id=\"en-NIV-23680\" class=\"text Matt-16-7\"><sup class=\"versenum\">7\u00a0<\/sup>They discussed this among themselves and said, \u201cIt is because we didn\u2019t bring any bread.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><span id=\"en-NIV-23681\" class=\"text Matt-16-8\"><sup class=\"versenum\">8\u00a0<\/sup>Aware of their discussion, Jesus asked,\u00a0<span class=\"woj\">\u201cYou of little faith,\u00a0why are you talking among yourselves about having no bread?<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<span id=\"en-NIV-23682\" class=\"text Matt-16-9\"><span class=\"woj\"><sup class=\"versenum\">9\u00a0<\/sup>Do you still not understand? Don\u2019t you remember the five loaves for the five thousand, and how many basketfuls you gathered?<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<span id=\"en-NIV-23683\" class=\"text Matt-16-10\"><span class=\"woj\"><sup class=\"versenum\">10\u00a0<\/sup>Or the seven loaves for the four thousand, and how many basketfuls you gathered?<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<span id=\"en-NIV-23684\" class=\"text Matt-16-11\"><span class=\"woj\"><sup class=\"versenum\">11\u00a0<\/sup>How is it you don\u2019t understand that I was not talking to you about bread? But be on your guard against the yeast of the Pharisees and Sadducees.\u201d<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<span id=\"en-NIV-23685\" class=\"text Matt-16-12\"><sup class=\"versenum\">12\u00a0<\/sup>Then they understood that he was not telling them to guard against the yeast used in bread, but against the teaching of the Pharisees and Sadducees.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"dropdown-e7afe\" class=\"bcv d-container go2888862000\" role=\"button\" aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-haspopup=\"listbox\" aria-labelledby=\"dropdown-e7afe\">\n<div class=\"dropdown-display\">\n<div class=\"dropdown-display-text\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=romans+12%3A2&amp;version=NIV\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Romans 12:2 New International Version<\/strong><\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"passage-text\">\n<div class=\"passage-content passage-class-0\">\n<div class=\"version-NIV result-text-style-normal text-html\">\n<div class=\"std-text\">\n<p class=\"chapter-2\" style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><span id=\"en-NIV-28248\" class=\"text Rom-12-2\"><sup class=\"versenum\">2\u00a0<\/sup>Do not conform\u00a0to the pattern of this world,\u00a0but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.\u00a0Then you will be able to test and approve what God\u2019s will is\u2014his good, pleasing\u00a0and perfect will.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800000;\">So ideas and thoughts\/ways of thinking can be good\/helpful or bad\/not helpful. I just like the point that Ash Lamb made &#8212; to NOT outsource our thinking to others.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><em>NOTE: The above thoughts aren&#8217;t just about our spiritual lives.
