They\u2019re less expensive than a college degree and designed to help prepare workers for better jobs.<br \/>\n&#8230;<br \/>\nIBM is ahead of the game in many respects. Six years ago, the tech giant began revising its job descriptions to focus on skills and not just educational attainment.
