As you walk around, the virtual landscape holds its position, and when you lean in close, it gets closer in the way a real object would.\u201d Can a \u201cholographic\u201d cinema experience really be that far off? With 3D sound? And Smell-O-Vision?<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>CEDIA&#8217;s Tech Council Sees the Future, <a href=\"http:\/\/cedia.net\/insights\/cedia-blog-detail\/blog\/2016\/07\/19\/cedia%27s-tech-council-sees-the-future-part-2\">Part 2: Wes Anderson\u2019s Favorite Screen<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>Prediction 13. Full-wall video with multiscreens will appear in the home. <\/strong>Here\u2019s something interesting: The first three predictions in this set of 10 all have an origin in commercial applications. This one \u2014 think of it more as digital signage than sports bar \u2014 will allow the user to have access to a wall that includes a weather app, a Twitter feed, a Facebook page, the latest episode of Chopped, a Cubs game, and literally anything else a member \u2014 or members \u2014 of the family are interested in. The unintended consequences: some 13-year-old will one day actually utter the phrase, \u201cMOM! Can you minimize your Snapchat already!?!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>CEDIA&#8217;s Tech Council Sees the Future, <a href=\"http:\/\/cedia.net\/insights\/cedia-blog-detail\/blog\/2016\/08\/08\/cedia%27s-tech-council-sees-the-future-part-3\">Part 3: Glass, Moore\u2019s Law, and \u201cAutopilot\u201d<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>Prediction 22: Intelligent glass will be used as a control interface, entertainment platform, comfort control, and communication screen. <\/strong>Gordon van Zuiden says, \u201cWe live in a world of touch, glass-based icons.
