and that goes not only for parents, siblings, spouses, and other family members, but also for teachers, professors, coaches, mentors, pastors, managers, supervisors, etc.\u00a0 They all help us learn and grow&#8230;and then we no longer have them in our lives.\u00a0 It reminds me of a learning ecosystem &#8212; constantly changing and morphing.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800000;\">So it&#8217;s very relevant not only to our personal lives, but a reminder to be thankful for those who have ridden a train with you, with me &#8212; if even for a brief period of time.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #008000;\"><strong>The Train of Life<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008000;\">At birth we boarded the train and met our parents, and we believe they will always travel on our side.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008000;\">However, at some station our parents will step down from the train, leaving us on this journey alone.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008000;\">As time goes by, other people will board the train; and they will be significant (i.e. our siblings, friends, children, and even the love of your life).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008000;\">Many will step down and leave a permanent vacuum.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008000;\">Others will go so unnoticed that we don&#8217;t realize they vacated their seats.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008000;\">This train ride will be full of joy, sorrow, fantasy, expectations, hellos, goodbyes, and farewells.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008000;\">Success consists of having a good relationship with all passengers requiring that we give the best of ourselves.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008000;\">The mystery to everyone is: We do not know at which station we ourselves will step down.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008000;\">So, we must live in the best way, love, forgive, and offer the best of who we are.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008000;\">It is important to do this because when the time comes for us to step down and leave our seat empty we should leave behind beautiful memories for those who will continue to travel on the train of life.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008000;\">I wish you a joyful journey on the train of life.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008000;\">Reap success and give lots of love.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008000;\">Lastly, I thank you for being one of the passengers on my train.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>From DSC: I&#8217;m not sure where the item below ultimately came from, but it was in one of those emails that came to me via a family member.\u00a0 It reminds me of how people come in and out of our lives &#8212;
