[Christian]"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em><span style=\"color: #800000;\">From DSC:<\/span><\/em><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #800000;\"> What we need is a major hackathon &#8212; or an organization with deep pockets &#8212; that can bring together folks from a variety of disciplines including:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Subject Matter Experts<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Instructional Designers<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Cognitive Psychologists<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Computer Scientists and\/or those exerienced with learning analytics\/data mining, Artificial Intelligence (AI)<br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Those gifted in film\/media\/videography\/photography<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Great storytellers\/writers (including writing for transmedia-based learning experiences)<br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Folks who can create engaging, educational games<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Designers <\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Web<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Graphic<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Interface<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #800000;\">User experience<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #800000;\">User interaction<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Those gifted in creating multimedia-based content<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Musicians<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Human Computer Interaction (HCI) experts<br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Mobile learning experts<br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Those knowledgeable with second screens\/M2M communications<br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Animators<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Illustrators<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Social media experts<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Accessibility experts<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Researchers<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Those gifted in creating augmented reality-based apps<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Legal\/copyright experts<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #800000;\">&amp; others<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>We need for these specialists to collaborate in order to create the next generation of learning.\u00a0<\/strong> Anyone who can bring these skillsets together and experiment with creating materials will have significantly contributed something to the current generations and to future generations!\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800000;\">And, in the words of M.C. Hammer,\u00a0<strong> computers &#8220;can&#8217;t touch this!&#8221;<\/strong>\u00a0 Why?
