Specifically, do two cognitive responses \u2014 critical evaluation of AI outputs (what the researchers call cognitive vigilance) and strategic delegation to AI (cognitive offloading) \u2014 compete with each other, or can they coexist?<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Based on previous research, Wang and Zhang hypothesised that cognitive offloading would hurt transformative learning.
