The Magi Visit the Messiah<\/span><\/strong><\/a> — from biblegateway.com<\/p>\n

2\u00a0<\/span>After Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea,\u00a0during the time of King Herod<\/strong><\/span>,\u00a0Magi[a<\/a>]<\/sup>\u00a0from the east came to Jerusalem<\/span>\u00a02\u00a0<\/sup>and asked, \u201cWhere is the one who has been born king of the Jews?\u00a0We saw his star\u00a0when it rose and have come to worship him.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

3\u00a0<\/sup>When King Herod heard this he was disturbed,<\/strong> <\/span>and all Jerusalem with him.<\/span>\u00a04\u00a0<\/sup>When he had called together all the people\u2019s chief priests and teachers of the law, he asked them where the Messiah was to be born.<\/span>\u00a05\u00a0<\/sup>\u201cIn Bethlehem\u00a0in Judea,\u201d they replied, \u201cfor this is what the prophet has written:<\/span><\/p>\n

6\u00a0<\/sup>\u201c\u2018But you, Bethlehem, in the land of Judah,<\/span>
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>are by no means least among the rulers of Judah;<\/span><\/span>
\nfor out of you will come a ruler<\/span>
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>who will shepherd my people Israel.\u2019[b<\/a>]<\/sup>\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

7\u00a0<\/sup>Then Herod called the Magi secretly and found out from them the exact time the star had appeared.<\/span>\u00a08\u00a0<\/sup>He sent them to Bethlehem and said, \u201cGo and search carefully for the child. As soon as you find him, report to me, so that I too may go and worship him.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

9\u00a0<\/sup>After they had heard the king, they went on their way, and the star they had seen when it rose went ahead of them until it stopped over the place where the child was.<\/span>\u00a010\u00a0<\/sup>When they saw the star, they were overjoyed.<\/span>\u00a011\u00a0<\/sup>On coming to the house, they saw the child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him.\u00a0Then they opened their treasures and presented him with gifts\u00a0of gold, frankincense and myrrh.<\/span>\u00a012\u00a0<\/sup>And having been warned\u00a0in a dream\u00a0not to go back to Herod, they returned to their country by another route.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Escape to Egypt<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

13\u00a0<\/sup>When they had gone, an angel\u00a0of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream.\u00a0\u201cGet up,\u201d he said, \u201ctake the child and his mother and escape to Egypt. Stay there until I tell you, for Herod is going to search for the child to kill him.\u201d<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

14\u00a0<\/sup>So he got up, took the child and his mother during the night and left for Egypt,<\/span>\u00a015\u00a0<\/sup>where he stayed until the death of Herod. And so was fulfilled\u00a0what the Lord had said through the prophet: \u201cOut of Egypt I called my son.\u201d[c<\/a>]<\/sup><\/span><\/p>\n

16\u00a0<\/sup>When Herod realized that he had been outwitted by the Magi, he was furious, and he gave orders to kill all the boys in Bethlehem and its vicinity who were two years old and under, in accordance with the time he had learned from the Magi.<\/span>\u00a017\u00a0<\/sup>Then what was said through the prophet Jeremiah was fulfilled:<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

18\u00a0<\/sup>\u201cA voice is heard in Ramah,<\/span><\/strong>
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>weeping and great mourning,<\/span><\/span><\/strong>
\nRachel\u00a0weeping for her children<\/span><\/strong>
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>and refusing to be comforted,<\/span><\/span><\/strong>
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>because they are no more.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

\nHerod gave the order to kill all the boys in Bethlehem and its vicinity who were two years old and under.<\/em> <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

So, as you can see from this excerpt from the Bible, kings can do whatever the hell they want to do. As such, we don’t want a king here in America. That will NOT make America great again…no way. Especially with someone like Donald Trump, who should be in jail…not in the presidency.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
