About\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/nces.ed.gov\/programs\/digest\/d21\/tables\/dt21_225.25.asp?current=yes\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">85 percent of high school graduates in 2019<\/a>\u00a0had taken at least one course in career and technical education, or CTE. In 2018, Congress increased annual funding for CTE, which now exceeds $1.4 billion.
