\nAs Rob Toews points out in his recent article out at Forbes.com<\/a>, we had better hope that the Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) builds out the capacity to make chips in various countries. Why? Because:<\/span><\/p>\n

The following statement is utterly ludicrous. It is also true. The world\u2019s most important advanced technology is nearly all produced in a single facility.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

What\u2019s more, that facility is located in one of the most geopolitically fraught areas on earth\u2014an area in which many analysts believe that war is inevitable within the decade.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The future of artificial intelligence hangs in the balance.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) makes<\/span> ***all of the world\u2019s advanced AI chips.***<\/span> Most importantly, this means Nvidia\u2019s GPUs; it also includes the\u00a0AI chips\u00a0from Google, AMD, Amazon, Microsoft, Cerebras, SambaNova, Untether and every other credible competitor.<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n
