1\u00a0<\/sup>Sing joyfully\u00a0to the\u00a0Lord<\/span>, you righteous;<\/span>
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>it is fitting\u00a0for the upright\u00a0to praise him.<\/span><\/span>
\n2\u00a0<\/sup>Praise the\u00a0Lord<\/span>\u00a0with the harp;<\/span>
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>make music to him on the ten-stringed lyre.<\/span><\/span>
\n3\u00a0<\/sup>Sing to him a new song;<\/span>
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>play skillfully, and shout for joy.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

4\u00a0<\/sup>For the word of the\u00a0Lord<\/span>\u00a0is right\u00a0and true;<\/span>
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>he is faithful\u00a0in all he does.<\/span><\/span>
\n5\u00a0<\/sup>The\u00a0Lord<\/span>\u00a0loves righteousness and justice;<\/span>
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>the earth is full of his unfailing love.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

6\u00a0<\/sup>By the word\u00a0of the\u00a0Lord<\/span>\u00a0the heavens were made,<\/span>
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>their starry host\u00a0by the breath of his mouth.<\/span><\/span>
\n7\u00a0<\/sup>He gathers the waters\u00a0of the sea into jars[a<\/a>]<\/sup>;<\/span>
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>he puts the deep into storehouses.<\/span><\/span>
\n8\u00a0<\/sup>Let all the earth fear the\u00a0Lord<\/span>;<\/span>
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>let all the people of the world\u00a0revere him.<\/span><\/span>
\n9\u00a0<\/sup>For he spoke, and it came to be;<\/span>
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>he commanded,\u00a0and it stood firm.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

10\u00a0<\/sup>The\u00a0Lord<\/span>\u00a0foils\u00a0the plans\u00a0of the nations;<\/span>
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>he thwarts the purposes of the peoples.<\/span><\/span>
\n11\u00a0<\/sup>But the plans of the\u00a0Lord<\/span>\u00a0stand firm\u00a0forever,<\/span>
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>the purposes\u00a0of his heart through all generations.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

12\u00a0<\/sup>Blessed is the nation whose God is the\u00a0Lord<\/span>,<\/span>
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>the people he chose\u00a0for his inheritance.<\/span><\/span>
\n13\u00a0<\/sup>From heaven the\u00a0Lord<\/span>\u00a0looks down<\/span>
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>and sees all mankind;<\/span><\/span>
\n14\u00a0<\/sup>from his dwelling place\u00a0he watches<\/span>
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>all who live on earth\u2014<\/span><\/span>
\n15\u00a0<\/sup>he who forms\u00a0the hearts of all,<\/span>
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>who considers everything they do.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

16\u00a0<\/sup>No king is saved by the size of his army;<\/span>
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>no warrior escapes by his great strength.<\/span><\/span>
\n17\u00a0<\/sup>A horse\u00a0is a vain hope for deliverance;<\/span>
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>despite all its great strength it cannot save.<\/span><\/span>
\n18\u00a0<\/sup>But the eyes\u00a0of the\u00a0Lord<\/span>\u00a0are on those who fear him,<\/span>
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>on those whose hope is in his unfailing love,<\/span><\/span>
\n19\u00a0<\/sup>to deliver them from death<\/span>
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>and keep them alive in famine.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

20\u00a0<\/sup>We wait\u00a0in hope for the\u00a0Lord<\/span>;<\/span>
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>he is our help and our shield.<\/span><\/span>
\n21\u00a0<\/sup>In him our hearts rejoice,<\/span>
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>for we trust in his holy name.<\/span><\/span>
