By that time, he was a product of the John Jay College of Criminal Justice\u2019s Prison-to-College Pipeline program and later graduated with a bachelor\u2019s degree in criminal justice.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>\u201cOnce I came home, I would constantly see people unemployed who I had sat in the law library with,\u201d Simmons says. \u201cThese individuals have legal expertise, but they\u2019re not given the opportunity to utilize it.
