They list several award-winning apps that use AR. A few are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The \u201cGatwick Airport Passenger\u201d App, which helps passengers navigate the airport;<\/li>\n<li>The \u201cDulux Visualizer\u201d App, which\u00a0\u00a0lets you virtually scan and paint your room any color you choose;<\/li>\n<li>\u201cEnvisioned by the Mine\u201d App, which lets you put 3D images of any type of accessory or furnishing in your home that Lowe\u2019s offers;<\/li>\n<li>\u201cSephora Virtual Artist\u201d, which allows you to \u201cput makeup on\u201d without actually touching brush to face;<\/li>\n<li>\u201cAccuvein\u201d, which doctors and nurses use to scan a patient\u2019s vein network (it reduces escalations by 45%);<\/li>\n<li>And, of course, there are apps like the \u201cBIC DrawyBook App\u201d just for fun.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>But what about the classroom? Can we see a future in transforming the classroom with augmented learning?<\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"color: #800000;\">From DSC:<\/span><\/em><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #800000;\">Along the lines of developing creativity with edtech&#8230;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800000;\">I saw another item recently about <a href=\"https:\/\/bookcreator.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Book Creator<\/strong><\/a>, something that&#8217;s made this blog before. I love that type of tool because it promotes creativity, unleashes a student&#8217;s imagination, promotes their artwork and writing\/storytelling and their musical or acting abilities, and it develops skills in design and developing multimedia-based artifacts. For teachers, it could be a nice project-based learning exercise.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800000;\"> I asked our youngest daughter if she would like to use it&#8230;we&#8217;ll see. You can get a free account that allows you to publish up to 40 books. (Plus there is pricing for schools and districts.)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800000;\">And who knows&#8230;? This type of thing might just produce the next<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jkrowling.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">J.K. Rowling<\/a><span style=\"color: #800000;\"> or a<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.imdb.com\/name\/nm0009190\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">J.J.
