1\u00a0<\/span><\/sup>Truly my soul finds rest<\/span>\u00a0in God;<\/span>
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/span>my salvation comes from him.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
\n2\u00a0<\/span><\/sup>Truly he is my rock<\/span>\u00a0and my salvation;<\/span><\/span>
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/span>he is my fortress,<\/span>\u00a0I will never be shaken.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

5\u00a0<\/span><\/sup>Yes, my soul, find rest in God;<\/span>

\nI wish I could always<\/em>\u00a0be able to experience\/live out the words King David wrote here. Finding rest. Never being shaken. <\/span><\/p>\n

But things aren’t always perfectly tranquil and calm in my soul. I can find myself like Peter, who tries to go out to Christ on the water…but he started to sink and he quickly needed to reach out to the LORD for help. I appreciate that the LORD is patient, kind, and good. His patience is incredible to me. “O ye of little faith” applies to me at times, but I thank the LORD for His patience.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

That said, the LORD *is* my refuge, a shelter in times of trouble but also when times are good. I like how King David urges us to communicate freely and openly with the LORD…pouring out our hearts to Him.\u00a0 It seems to me that strong\/solid relationships need that level of communication.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
