Just master these 5 peak performance zones."},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><em>From DSC:<br \/>\n<\/em>My comments below are not meant to bash anyone at the Institute for the Future (which I really respect) nor at <em>MIT Technology Review, in fact I<a href=\"http:\/\/danielschristian.com\/learning-ecosystems\/2018\/02\/22\/10-breakthrough-technologies-2018-mit-technology-review\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> recently posted an item from the latter organization<\/a> that I thought was great. <\/em>But l<\/span><span style=\"color: #800000;\">ooking at the list below, I can&#8217;t help but think, &#8220;Oh&#8230;that should be no problem!\u00a0 Geez that&#8217;s <em>easy<\/em>! &#8230;&#8230;&#8230;<em>NOT<\/em>!&#8221; <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800000;\">As people lose their jobs to AI, robots, bots, algorithms, automation and the like &#8212; and try to reinvent themselves &#8212; many people won&#8217;t have the skills, interests, aptitudes, funding, background\/prior knowledge, etc. to carve out their niches, to find out how to build teams that utilize robots and AI, and to make sense of complex systems. How many of us truly understand the world we&#8217;re living in these days? No one does.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Again, no problem on mastering these 5 peak performance zones. <em>Easy peazy lemon squeezy. <\/em>Geeez.\u00a0 <\/span><em><span style=\"color: #800000;\">(Please hear the intense sarcasm dripping off my comments.) <\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800000;\">How unrealistic can we get? It&#8217;s like saying, &#8220;Everyone can learn to code. No problem.&#8221;\u00a0 That&#8217;s not true at all, especially given the current state of computer programming. Many (most?) people simply don&#8217;t think that way. That&#8217;s why programmers are always in demand and they are often highly paid. Why?
