LinkedIn said the new desktop version will be rolling out globally over the next few weeks.<br \/>\n&#8230;<br \/>\nTwo of the most\u00a0notable changes in this new version are how LinkedIn is approaching private messaging, and also how it\u2019s moving to make its public messaging \u2014 its feeds \u2014 better and more used.<br \/>\n&#8230;<br \/>\nAnd now,<strong><span style=\"color: #800000;\"> LinkedIn is introducing its own form of \u2018chatbots\u2019. <\/span><\/strong><span style=\"color: #800000;\">To be clear, I\u2019m referring to these as chatbots, but LinkedIn is not<\/span> \u2014 it doesn\u2019t follow you and steer the whole conversation, but it\u2019s a little helper that will suggest things to talk about to \u201cbreak the ice\u201d with people. It will also suggest people you can chat with at companies if you aren\u2019t even at the ice-breaking point.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #800000;\">The feed itself is going to be filled with significantly more algorithms to suggest content to you<\/span><\/strong> \u2014 both organic and sponsored, \u201cnative\u201d content\u00a0\u2014 a new ad unit that LinkedIn is hoping to expand.
