He finished both books.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>\u201c<span id=\"hiquote1\">And then because we don\u2019t have book 3 out yet, unprompted by her he went over to the bookshelf and pulled off a paperback and started reading chapter books again.<\/span>\u201d<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">While the storytelling app had already shot to \u2018Best New App\u2019 in Apple\u2019s app store, chalking up 5,000 downloads in the first two weeks after it was released, the realization that it converted a <span id=\"nsent0\" title=\"1\">reluctant<\/span> nine-year-old to an avid reader confirmed for Pattison and Minaker they were on the right track.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">\u201c<span id=\"hiquote2\">It is a common theme we have been hearing,<\/span>\u201d said Pattison. \u201cThey get to this age range of eight to 12 and they stop being interested in reading.
