from Jane Hart<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">I interrupt my series of postings on Collaboration Platforms, to talk  a little about the stages of Workplace Learnng<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">As I have read the comments on my recent postings as well as  tweets and postings on other blogs,\u00a0 I&#8217;ve identified what I think are 5  main  stages of workplace learning.\u00a0 I&#8217;ve tried to capture these,\u00a0 in a very  rough and ready way, in the diagram  below.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/janeknight.typepad.com\/socialmedia\/2010\/05\/5-stages-of-workplace-learning.html\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-4874\" title=\"5-stages-workplace-learning-Jane-Hart-5-2010\" src=\"http:\/\/danielschristian.com\/learning-ecosystems\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/05\/5-stages-workplace-learning-Jane-Hart-5-2010.jpg\" alt=\"5 Stages of Workplace Learning\" width=\"537\" height=\"391\" srcset=\"http:\/\/danielschristian.com\/learning-ecosystems\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/05\/5-stages-workplace-learning-Jane-Hart-5-2010.jpg 537w, http:\/\/danielschristian.com\/learning-ecosystems\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/05\/5-stages-workplace-learning-Jane-Hart-5-2010-150x109.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 537px) 100vw, 537px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>But some of  the key mindset changes that will move organisations into Stage 5 are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>recognising that  working=learning; learning=working<\/li>\n<li>understanding that informal  learning needs to be enabled, supported and encouraged &#8211; but not designed or managed<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;letting go&#8221;, so that there is a  move from learner control to learner autonomy<\/li>\n<li>realising that autonomous,  independent and inter-dependent, self-directed learners are essential\u00a0 in an agile organisation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/janeknight.typepad.com\/socialmedia\/2010\/05\/5-stages-of-workplace-learning.html\" target=\"_blank\">More here&#8230;<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>5 Stages of Workplace Learning &#8212;
