Ulrich, vice dean of innovation at Wharton, have published a <a href=\"http:\/\/mackinstitute.wpengine.netdna-cdn.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/Terwiesch_Ulrich_Threat-and-Opportunity-of-MOOCs-for-MBA-Programs.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">paper<\/a> on how the ascent of short video lectures\u2014the kind popularized by massive open online courses and Khan Academy\u2014might change the cost and structure of top business programs like Wharton\u2019s. The short answer is that they probably won\u2019t, at least not anytime soon.<br \/>\n&#8230;<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\">The business school eventually might have to provide chunks of its curriculum on demand over a student\u2019s whole career, he said, rather than during a two-year stretch at the beginning.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800000;\">From DSC:<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #800000;\">I like that question &#8212; <em><strong>Would graduate school work better if you never graduated from it?<\/strong><\/em> &#8212; as it speaks to me of <strong>tapping into the streams of content<\/strong> that are constantly flowing by us now&#8230;and doing so throughout our lifetimes.
