And they&#8217;re starting to eclipse\u00a0the passive, one-way broadcasts we once fought over for two-way, interactive experiences <\/strong><\/span>that let you share democratically among multiple users (n\u00e9e viewers) across mobile devices and computers.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">&#8230;<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.npd.com\/wps\/portal\/npd\/us\/news\/press-releases\/over-200-million-connected-tvs-and-attached-content-devices-expected-in-us-homes-by-2015-according-to-npd\/\" target=\"_blank\">According to research firm NPD Group<\/a>,\u00a0the smart television business has begun to boom. In the beginning of 2013, there were 140 million Internet-ready TVs in American homes.\u00a0By 2015, it will grow 44 percent, to 202 million. And by that time, nearly two-thirds of them will actually be connected to the Internet, compared to just 56 percent now.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">&#8230;<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">How they connect is important.
