Now, a treasure trove of more than 500 of those maps are available online in a new service from Google Maps.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">The <a href=\"http:\/\/maps.google.com\/gallery\/publisher?pub=National+Geographic+Society&amp;hl=en\" target=\"_blank\">National Geographic maps can be found in their own section<\/a> of Google Maps Gallery, which launched officially on February 27.
