We call this a Learning Flow.<\/p>\n<p>A Learning Flow is a continuous steady stream of social micro-learning activities &#8211; accessible from the web and mobile devices<\/p>\n<p>Let&#8217;s look at each of the elements of that sentence, that describe a Learning Flow<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>continuous<\/strong> \u2013 ongoing (ie no end date)<\/li>\n<li><strong>steady<\/strong> &#8211; daily (or probably more likely, weekdaily)<\/li>\n<li><strong>micro-learning<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 short \u2013 ie taking no longer than 15-20 minutes to undertake<\/li>\n<li><strong>activities<\/strong> \u2013 that involve reading (watching or listening to) something and doing something<\/li>\n<li><strong>social \u2013 <\/strong>that\u00a0invite and encourage active participation and contribution<\/li>\n<li><strong>stream<\/strong>\u00a0 &#8211; \u00a0that are organised and structured in the Flow in weekly themes<\/li>\n<li><strong>accessible from web and mobile devices <\/strong>\u2013 to ensure that \u00a0learning can take place anywhere and at anytime<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"color: #800000;\">From DSC:<\/span><\/em><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #800000;\">Jane&#8217;s posting gets at what I&#8217;ve been trying to get at with the graphic below; and that is, we need to be consistently dipping our feet into <em>streams<\/em> of relevant content (i.e. relevant to our own learning ecosystems and what <em>each of us<\/em> needs to know to get and stay marketable).<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-16671\" alt=\"What's the best way to deal with ever-changing streams of content?
