Plus, as companies such as Apple and Microsoft have seen, functionality that started out trying to address accessibility-related needs ended up helping everyone!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Along these lines, I created this graphic years ago &#8212; with the idea that <strong>students would have a choice<\/strong> on which media they might prefer to use to absorb the information:<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-22017\" title=\"Deliver-Content-in-Multiple-Ways\" src=\"http:\/\/danielschristian.com\/learning-ecosystems\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/Deliver-Content-in-Multiple-Ways.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"597\" height=\"226\" srcset=\"http:\/\/danielschristian.com\/learning-ecosystems\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/Deliver-Content-in-Multiple-Ways.jpg 597w, http:\/\/danielschristian.com\/learning-ecosystems\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/Deliver-Content-in-Multiple-Ways-150x56.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 597px) 100vw, 597px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>Again, the idea being that we could provide the same content in 3-5 different ways and let the students select what works best for them.<\/strong> Plus, in the example above, we could even see how other students are describing\/making meaning of something.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800000;\">But it goes further than this as I&#8217;m understanding UDL.
